zsolt szlanka, founder and managing director of BRIDGE DRIVING AGENCY and prime learner ltd
Through his experience as an instructor, Zsolt quickly realised a solution was needed to benefit the learner drivers, driving instructors and instructor trainers across the country.
As a result, Zsolt has created a unique website, developed by his business partner Ian Calow.
The main aim of Bridge Driving Agency is to bridge the gap between learners and instructors by cutting out the Driving School middle man. This is to be achieved through a nationwide online database where instructors can join and leaners can search selecting their own instructor through various search filters. These filters are to include location, gender, language and religion. The learners can then contact their chosen instructor directly without any middle man contact.
During his time as an instructor, Zsolt has made acquaintances with drivers of different nationalities from all over the word and with them he has created over 50 videos in 9 different languages about how to drive abroad. Now receiving over 1,000 hits everyday, their popularity is growing rapidly and has led to the production of a professional DVD series about driving abroad.
Bridge Driving Agency's 'Guide to Driving Abroad' is a unique DVD series consisting of a half-hour video, guiding people through the important differences of the foreign roads. It is to be available for a wide variety of countries and in multiple languages. The editions currently available are for Mainland Europe and the United Kingdom where chapters include in-depth guides to using roundabouts and useful references and tips for driving on the foreign roads. The DVD also includes information on road tax, car insurance and the Highway Code providing a complete guide to safer more confident driving for all.
These days the company is building the website’s database of instructors and producing the DVD series all over the word.

Zsolt graduated from a Hungary university as Human Resource Manager in the Business and Economy faculty. After qualification from the Driving Standard Agency, Zsolt started work in the School of Motoring industry, like many others, by joining a driving school in the United Kingdom. After a very short period of time, less than 6 months, he realised the Great British public are being very badly mislead by the big-name driving schools through unnecessarily high franchise fees and lack of contact with pupils.
